A married couple, Rachel and Benjor, both 28 years old, have spent a large amount of money on plastic surgery to change their looks. They say that the people who dislike their choices actually “encourage them” to have even more plastic surgeries.
Rachel and Benjor describe themselves as a “vain” couple. They have spent nearly £30,000 on different surgeries and treatments. Some critics think that the two of them need “therapy” to deal with what they see as a “surgery addiction”. But now, the couple is fighting back against these opinions.
The couple, who both identify as bisexual, first met at a Mormon church. However, they have since left behind their strict religious lives. They are very open about their cosmetic work. Recently, they appeared on the Love Don’t Judge show, where they talked about the negative comments and hate they receive online.
Rachel said, “Benjor was the one who first inspired me to be okay with getting plastic surgery.” Benjor explained that when he was creating content for his business, he realized there were parts of his appearance he wanted to change. He said, “I thought, ‘Gosh, my nose is a bit crooked, and my teeth aren’t in good shape.’ That’s when I started having plastic surgery.”
At first, Benjor felt “embarrassed” about his cosmetic procedures. But now, he proudly shows off his transformation and says he’s happy to have a very noticeable look.
As for Rachel, she has always liked to stand out. As soon as her husband had plastic surgery, she decided to do the same. She has had a jaw implant, a chin shave, a buccal fat reduction, and “Botox in many places”.
Rachel, who loves cosmetic procedures, said, “I had filler under my eyes, in my smile lines, and in my nose. I just had the filler in my lips dissolved, but I’ll get more lip filler soon. Oh, and I’ve also had my teeth done.” Benjor said, “I’ve had two nose jobs, jaw implants, chin implants, I’ve had my teeth fixed, and I’ve had lip fillers.”
He revealed that together, they have spent £28,000 on these procedures. He also said that when they first got married, he “never imagined” that they would end up having so many cosmetic surgeries. “I’m glad I did it. I definitely look a lot better,” Benjor said, and he added that his wife “already looked perfect”.
Most of the procedures were done in Benjor’s home country. Rachel said that the surgeons there are more willing to “go a bit further” with the procedures. She explained, “Surgeons in the US want people to look more natural. If I wanted to look natural, I wouldn’t have done any of this.”
Because of their enhanced looks, the couple said that strangers online often tell them to “seek therapy”. Rachel said she doesn’t like it when people tell her she looked “prettier before”. She also said that there’s nothing she can do about it now. Benjor joked that when their haters say they look “plastic”, it’s like saying they’re perfect, so they’ll take it as a compliment.
The couple said that these comments don’t bother them. Any kind of interaction they get online, whether it’s positive or negative, helps to get more attention. “It helps us become more popular, and I really believe it’s helping us grow,” Benjor explained.
Even though they get a lot of negative comments about their looks, neither of them plans to stop having cosmetic procedures anytime soon. “I will never stop getting plastic surgery and improving my appearance. It would be kind of sad if I did, because then it would feel like ‘I don’t care about myself anymore’,” Rachel said.
