Married At First Sight star Ella Morgan has shown her fans her swollen face while disclosing the results of her agonizing hair transplant.
Ella, 31, filmed a close – up of her blood – smeared new hairline while recuperating at home. She gently placed her hand over her eyes. Then, the reality star removed her hand and zoomed in, revealing her extremely swollen face.
One of her eyes has swollen so much from the recent surgery that she can’t open it. Fans may even have trouble recognizing her.
Ella compared herself to the gentle giant Sloth from the iconic 1980s movie The Goonies.
She captioned the clip on Instagram: “It’s giving… the guy from the goonies.” Ella had kept her hair transplant a secret and only made it public after the procedure was completed this week.
The Celebs Go Dating star had previously spoken about her wish to have the cosmetic operation due to her own “insecurity” about a large scar.
Last March, Ella asked her fans if they could recommend a surgeon as she revealed her aspiration for a new hairline.
Ella said at that time: “Hi guys, Since I had my face surgery in August 2021, I’ve got a large scar which runs along my hairline from one ear to the other, and it’s been healed for a while now. I want to get a hair transplant to cover it, as it’s something I’m still self – conscious about when I wear my hair back. Any recommendations for clinics that offer the best hair transplant for women would be amazing.” After being silent on the matter, Ella surprised her fans this week by revealing that she had undergone the transplant.
Ella posted a side – on photo of her face on Instagram, which was taken as she was resting on the sofa with her eyes closed.
She had surgical tape across her forehead and a piece of white gauze tucked into an inflatable neck pillow.
Ella captioned the picture: “Sorry I’ve been quiet.. I’ll be back on socials soon.. just taking some time to recover and chill atm. I’ve been vlogging the whole thing so you can see my journey when I’ve finished editing it Xx.”
Ella’s hair transplant comes after The Sun reported that she has split with her Celebs Go Dating boyfriend Alex James Ali.
We reported in December that the couple, who met on the E4 show, had broken up amid cheating allegations.
Ella has since made a series of veiled references to Alex online, deleting all traces of him from her Instagram and even sharing a Christmas picture with her dog, whom she declared was “her main man”.
A representative for Ella told us at the time: “Ella is extremely grateful for her time on Celebs Go Dating and for meeting Alex. Sadly, the couple decided to split recently this month, but Ella was unaware of any messaging between Alex and other girls during the time they were together. This has come as a bit of a shock and so Ella will be focusing the rest of the Christmas and festive period on spending time with her family, alongside focusing on her career and well – being. She has learnt so much about what she wants and deserves, and knows what her worth is, which is the most important thing.”
