But when large breasts cause chronic health problems, such as pain or changes in posture, health insurance covers a breast reduction procedure called mastectomy.
Both Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage provide coverage for medically necessary breast surgery. But the two programs have different deductibles, copays and co-insurance rates.
