Jessel Taank, a well – known face from The Real Housewives of New York City, has been in the spotlight lately due to comments about her appearance. On the show, Brynn Whitfield accused her of having a “new face.” Now, the reality star is coming clean about all the work she’s had done on her face.
In a recent interview on Page Six’s Virtual Reali – Tea show, Taank revealed that seeing herself on television was a major influence on her decision to get plastic surgery. “When you watch yourself on TV, you notice every little thing,” she said. “So I thought, ‘Why not make a few little adjustments? ’ And let’s be real, lots of people get Botox and a bit of filler here and there.”
Taank then shared that she’s been getting Botox since she was 26 years old. “Botox is really life – changing,” she said. “I’m not one to keep these things a secret. I don’t believe in doing procedures and then pretending like I didn’t. That’s why I talk about it openly on my social media. We’re on TV, and it’s part of the deal.”
Teeth were another point of discussion. Taank was accused of having something done to her teeth, and she was more than happy to talk about her veneers. “I did get veneers. My dentist, Dr. Victoria Veytsman, is just incredible. She works with so many celebrities,” Taank said. She then explained the reason behind her dental work. “When I was a kid, I was on vacation near a swimming pool. I was running and I slipped. I hit my mouth really hard on the concrete. So, I actually needed cosmetic resurfacing or reconstruction. That’s why I got the veneers.”
Taank’s openness about her plastic surgery and dental procedures gives fans a rare peek into the world of reality TV and the lengths some stars go to in order to feel confident on screen.
