Celebrity hair transplant surgeon Dr. Matee Rajput, known for working with high-profile clients including Katie Price, Joe Swash, and Jake Quickenden, reports a significant increase in women seeking hairline procedures, particularly to reduce the size of their foreheads. This rise in female patients, according to Dr. Rajput, is largely influenced by the public journeys shared by celebrities like Love Island star Rosie Williams.

Dr. Rajput, who is the surgical director at KSL Clinic in Salford, has seen a surge in inquiries from women wanting to address not just hair loss, but also to lower their hairlines. The trend gained momentum after Rosie Williams, a 2018 Love Island contestant, publicly shared her own hair transplant experience in June 2022. Rosie had been suffering from significant hair loss, with chunks of hair falling out, which affected her mental health.

“Thanks to women like Rosie and Bianca, everyday women are finding the confidence to seek help for hair loss and thinning hair,” said Dr. Rajput. “We’ve seen over a 30% increase in female hair transplant inquiries over the past year, and it’s largely due to celebrities openly sharing their experiences.”

Rosie Williams’ decision to undergo a hairline procedure has inspired many women to address not just thinning hair, but also to reduce the appearance of their foreheads. Dr. Rajput explained that lowering the hairline is a less invasive alternative to more complex cosmetic surgeries aimed at forehead reduction. By adjusting the hairline, the forehead appears smaller without the need for more invasive procedures.

Other notable female clients of Dr. Rajput include model Katie Price, who sought PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatments to combat hair thinning caused by extensions, and reality TV star Bianca Gascoigne, who underwent an eyebrow transplant after years of over-plucking left her with sparse brows.

Dr. Rajput noted that the rising trend of women seeking hair transplants is helping normalize the procedure. “It’s brilliant to see more and more women feel comfortable enough to get in touch for help with their self-image,” he said. “Whether it’s for hair loss or to address cosmetic concerns like reducing the size of their forehead, the increased visibility of these journeys has made the process less taboo.”

One of Dr. Rajput’s more recent success stories includes a 57-year-old patient, Doreen, who sought a hair transplant after experiencing thinning hair due to early menopause. “Her results are incredible,” said Dr. Rajput. “Not only has it addressed her thinning hairline, but it has also reduced the size of her forehead, improving her overall face shape.”

As more women feel empowered to discuss and seek solutions for hair loss and cosmetic concerns, Dr. Rajput believes that celebrities sharing their journeys are playing a pivotal role in changing perceptions about hair transplants.
