Meredith Marks is feeling optimistic following her third breast reduction surgery, with her recovery progressing smoothly. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star expressed her joy in an exclusive interview with Page Six at the American Ballet Theatre’s 2024 Fall Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City.
“I’m feeling great! I’m so happy!” the 52-year-old Marks exclaimed. She shared that she can now wear regular clothing without needing alterations that previously required her to adjust “two sizes on the waist and hips from the bust.”
Marks praised her surgeon, Dr. Rosenberg in Los Angeles, calling the experience “wonderful.” “He’s amazing,” she said. “I could not be happier, quite honestly.”
Looking ahead, Marks hopes to engage in more physical activities with her “RHOSLC” co-stars, including zip lining and rope courses that she had to miss this season.
In a previous appearance on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, Marks revealed that her latest surgery was prompted by an unknown medical condition that has affected her for years. “My breast tissue doesn’t stop growing!” she said. “It’s wild. Seriously, I have this weird issue, and I’m hoping this is my final reduction. I never wanted to be that big.”
She suspects that her condition is “hormonal and genetic,” noting that her mother experienced similar growth patterns in her 40s. “I just was too big to start,” Marks reflected.
The jewelry designer explained that she felt increasingly uncomfortable with her expanding bust, leading her to pursue the latest procedure. “When you have to go up two sizes to accommodate your chest, nothing sits right. It’s just not good…it’s weird,” she added.
While Marks hopes to avoid another surgery, she remains open to the possibility if necessary.
Attending the gala alongside her children, Chloe and Brooks Marks, she shared her enthusiasm for ballet. “I don’t know who couldn’t love the ballet,” she remarked. “The last ballet I went to for ABT was the most spectacular, beautiful performance I’d ever seen.”
