Chrishell Stause, the 43-year-old star of Selling Sunset, recently revealed that she underwent surgery after her breast implants ruptured. In an Instagram video shared on September 15, Stause explained that a full body scan earlier this year indicated both of her implants had disintegrated after 15 years.
“My first thought was fear,” she shared, reflecting on her concerns about surgery and potential complications. Fortunately, she found Dr. Josef Hadeed, who successfully removed the silicone and replaced her “vintage” implants. Stause emphasized that while she isn’t promoting plastic surgery, she believes it’s important for those considering it to prioritize their health.
Stause expressed surprise at the rupture, noting she felt no symptoms, and encouraged others with implants over a decade old to have them checked. According to the Mayo Clinic, ruptured silicone implants may not always show symptoms but can lead to breast pain or shape changes.
In addition to her health journey, Stause is set to appear in the third season of The Traitors USA, where she will compete in a high-stakes murder mystery game alongside actor Sam Asghari. The release date for the show on Peacock has yet to be announced.
