Jana Kramer Says She ‘regrets’ Having Breast Augmentation Surgery

Jana Cramer is opening up about her breast augmentation regrets. During an episode of her podcast Whine Down on Sunday, Feb. 23, the One Tree Hill alum revealed her mixed feelings about breast augmentation surgery following her divorce from ex-husband Mike Caussin.

When guest Kristen Brewster told Cramer that she was considering getting a breast reduction and breast lift, the country singer shared advice based on her own experience. “I don’t think it’s superficial at all to want to get a breast lift to gain confidence,” she explained. “You don’t have to do it, but if it’s just for you, then it’s fine.”

Cramer revealed that her decision to get plastic surgery wasn’t entirely that way, telling the podcast, “My biggest regret about my breasts is that I don’t know if it was completely for me. I guess the biggest advice I can give is that it has to be 100 percent right for you.”

The Friday Night Lights actress revealed that she became interested in the procedure in the hope that if she changed her appearance, her former football player husband — who allegedly cheated on her frequently — would stop having the procedure.

“I was in a marriage where my husband was always cheating, and I would see the women he cheated with and I would think, ‘I’m nothing like them,’” Kramer explained. “So when I saw the news, I thought for a moment, like, ‘If I had bigger breasts, he wouldn’t cheat,’ or he would think I was sexier or something like that.”

Ultimately, Kramer decided to wait until after her divorce to have surgery, and she feels that surgery is a personal choice. “I got to a point where I felt it was right for me. After having two kids, my face sagged so badly that there were parts that were never going to come back,” she shared. “So people saw them and were like, ‘Oh my god,’ and it was gross to me.”

While the star says she’s “happily done with implants after my divorce,” she would choose a different path now. “I actually want to take them out and put them back up. I want the surgery to be more natural, not implants. So, by the time I take them out and have them back up, I don’t think I’ll be putting them back,” she said.
