Pakistani actress Komal Meer, who has long been in the spotlight for plastic surgery rumours, has finally broken her silence.
She appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast ‘Excuse Me’ to talk about it and said that she did not opt for any fillers and just gained 6 kgs and it was all rumours.
Talking about it, she said, “I feel like everyone is getting plastic surgery. Ordinary people get more surgeries now than celebrities. I went for facials and was shocked to see housewives going to beauty salons for surgeries and leaving huge bills to the clinics, but I never did anything like that. I swear! I didn’t do anything and people only saw my cheeks but not my double chin.”
Talking about fat-shaming, she said, “I don’t know why people are shaming me, they did when I was skinny. I don’t think so, I just gained weight. I just gained 6 kg. It was for a TV show, for a project, but now the project has been postponed. Also, I used this role as motivation and started dieting. It’s a good project that I wanted to take up, and I also wanted to gain weight because I have always been underweight. I have been hearing this all my life, I need to gain weight.”
She also issued a stern warning to haters who mocked her for her size and rapid changes.
She said, “I want to say a word to those who are trolling me – don’t be jealous of my weight gain. Let me take a breath. I will go to the gym and work out. Wait and see. And those who want to know about my diet plan, wait, I will share it soon.”
