Farrah Abraham has always been open about her love for plastic surgery and the procedures she’s had over the years. The 33-year-old former “Teen Mom” star appeared on the March 17 episode of PageSix’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. She talked about getting “preventive” cosmetic treatments in her 20s and said she has no regrets about it.
Abraham shared that she’s currently undergoing Morpheus8 treatments to fight the signs of aging. She’s on her second out of three sessions. Morpheus8 is a microneedling device. It uses radio frequency to go through the skin and target fat, making the skin look smoother. The heat is delivered under the skin at a specific depth, depending on the needles and the customized treatment plan.
“I’m really focused on the Morpheus treatment for my face right now,” she said. “Even though I had the fat under my chin removed by a plastic surgeon before, I’m still using Morpheus8 there to keep the skin tight. You can do a lot of work in your 20s, but your skin still does its own thing as you age.”
“So, for those who didn’t do preventive maintenance, be careful. But I did,” she laughed.
The podcast hosts, Danny Murphy and Evan Real, praised Abraham for being one of the first celebrities to be honest about the surgeries she’s had and how her appearance has changed.
“Some people say, ‘I have to pray to Jesus just to get the courage for a facelift.’ Well, I’ll tell you right now, if I start sagging and it’s time for a blepharoplasty or any other procedure, I’m getting it done right away,” she said. “I’m all about prevention.”
She also explained, “I think if I wait until I’m older, and I see a lot of my girlfriends in their 50s and 60s holding off on getting procedures. It just gets more expensive. Let’s be real, I’d rather save money for myself and for other women by doing it early.”
Abraham then added that a blepharoplasty (a surgery to remove extra skin from the eyelids) and a mini face lift are on her list of plastic surgery procedures she wants to have in the future.
“Women can have fun with their bodies,” she boasted. “Everyone should be able to enjoy themselves and not feel ashamed of what they do to their bodies.”
Back in 2018, the reality star even recorded herself getting butt injections. Her daughter Sophia was in the room, watching and filming in the background.
“Hey guys, I’m showing you a secret for a great booty,” Abraham said in the Instagram video. “We’re injecting Sculptra in there. We’re just smoothing it out, keeping it normal and natural with regular collagen, not any extra fillers. A lot of people get confused about that. This is really nice, easy, and simple, and it lasts for two years. I love this booty secret for the summer.”
After receiving a lot of criticism because people wondered why her daughter was in the room during the procedure, Abraham responded that Sophia, who was 9 years old at the time, was “learning.”
“Our kids are curious, so it’s great that Sophia is learning about aesthetics and health,” she said then.
