On Saturday, March 8, 39 – year – old Christina, known from “Flip or Flop”, posted on Instagram. She said, “I’ve been really exhausted lately and I’m trying to get back in tune with my body.” She also shared that for years, she’s had some health problems that no one can explain. Now, she’s starting to think they might be related to her breast implants. She asked, “Does anyone else have any experience with this? I’m curious to hear what other women think.”
The interior designer posted this as part of “Self Care Saturday”. In the post, she was shown wearing an LED light helmet while using a meditation app. Christina, who’s also from “Christina on the Coast”, said that she and her husband, Joshua Hall, had been taking turns looking after her three sick children.
She has Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, with her ex – husband Tarek El Moussa, and a 3 – year – old son, Hudson, with Ant Anstead. In the caption, the HGTV star listed some of her health issues.
She wrote, “Inflammation, autoimmune problems like Hashimoto’s disease, PCOS, Raynaud’s syndrome, skin rashes with no clear cause, joint and muscle pain, dry eyes, GI problems, SIBO, acid reflux, brain fog, hormone imbalances, swollen lymph nodes, and adrenal fatigue. I tested positive for ANA. I don’t eat gluten and mostly avoid dairy.” The host of “Christina in the Country” also mentioned that she’s already had some of her cosmetic work reversed. She said, “I had all my under – eye filler dissolved because it was causing an inflammatory reaction. Right now, I’m just focusing on detoxing and having a positive mindset.”
Over the years, the author of “The Wellness Remodel” has been open about her health problems. In October 2021, she revealed that she’d had “extreme stomach pain” since 2016. She wrote on Instagram at the time, “Doctors thought it was stress and tried to give me all kinds of pills, but I knew covering it up wasn’t the answer. I focused on my nutrition and it got better, but then last year the pain came back. My doctors did an endoscopy and tested me for SIBO to find out what was wrong.
Basically, if I don’t eat really healthy, I get a terrible burning feeling. I finally found a doctor who didn’t just tell me to take acid controllers. Now I’m hoping everything will be okay after some rounds of antibiotics to kill the bacteria that’s hurting my GI tract. I’ve talked to a lot of people about this, and I want to say how important it is to trust your own health instincts and not ignore what’s going on in your body.”
