Kara Hui, an actress, has recently confessed that she has had plastic surgery several times during her acting career.
This revelation came about on an episode of the reality show “Everybody Stand By”. The show asked the participating actors if they had ever had plastic surgery. While some actors were too shy to admit it, Kara, who serves as one of the mentors on the show, chose to be honest and disclose that she had indeed had work done on her face.
As an action star, Kara explained that in her early days, she frequently filmed high-risk action scenes. As a result, she suffered fractures and injuries to her mouth, eyes, cheekbones, and other parts of her face. To get her appearance back to normal, she resorted to plastic surgery. However, she also mentioned that her face still looks a bit unnatural.
“I’ve had 89 stitches on my face,” she further stated.
Kara hopes that the actors present on the show can be brave enough to speak up. She said, “Do you think there’s something wrong with plastic surgery? If it’s necessary, it’s perfectly fine!”
Her comments quickly caught a lot of attention. Many people praised Kara for her straightforwardness and her commitment to her acting work.
On the other hand, some people couldn’t help but laugh. They pointed out that unlike most actresses who have “aesthetic” plastic surgeries for beauty purposes, Kara’s plastic surgeries were more of the “reconstructive” type due to her injuries.
