Paige DeSorbo, the 32-year-old Summer House star, recently shared her reasoning for opting out of getting breast implants during a January 16 episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, which she co-hosts with Hannah Berner.
The episode kicked off with a conversation about actress Denise Richards’ recent experience with ruptured breast implants. Richards, 53, had recalled how two of her implants ruptured after a bridge-jumping challenge on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, leaving her with the decision to either replace or remove them entirely.
DeSorbo, who had been listening, responded with curiosity about the experience: “I wonder if you know right when it happens. I wonder if you can feel it inside you, like, ‘I just popped a bag.’” Then, in an open moment about her own body choices, DeSorbo revealed why she ultimately chose not to pursue breast augmentation.
She explained, “Here’s a reason I went against getting a boob job. If something is going to happen medically, I know I’d be the type of body to be like, ‘We don’t want this’ and reject it.” She continued, referencing Paris Hilton’s breast augmentation, which Hilton herself has publicly denied. “That’s what happened to Paris Hilton! She got a boob job years ago, and her body rejected them and she got them taken out right away.”
While Hilton has consistently denied getting plastic surgery, publicly stating in November 2024 that she has never had Botox, injectables, or any surgery, DeSorbo’s comment about Hilton’s implants caused a bit of a stir, as the Simple Life star has adamantly maintained her stance on not having undergone plastic surgery.
DeSorbo’s thoughts on body enhancements don’t stop at breast implants. In a previous interview with Us Weekly in November 2024, DeSorbo revealed that she’s open to getting a mini facelift when she turns 40, following in the footsteps of celebrities like Christina Aguilera, who has maintained a youthful appearance over the years.
“I feel really proud that I’m all natural,” Hilton told the Zach Sang Show, reiterating her commitment to keeping things as natural as possible.
Despite the conversation surrounding plastic surgery, DeSorbo emphasized that her decision to stay natural is a personal one, aligning with her preference for a body free from major enhancements. The Giggly Squad podcast continues to be a platform where both DeSorbo and Berner openly discuss issues related to beauty standards, body image, and the pressures of maintaining a public persona in the entertainment industry.
