Ireland’s leading eye hospital is offering a free drop-in clinic for cataract sufferers in Donegal. The Cathedral Eye Clinic from Belfast is bringing a team of experts to the Radisson Hotel in Letterkenny on Wednesday, September 11.
What to Expect at the Clinic
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about cataract surgery options at Cathedral Eye Clinic. The clinic offers partial reimbursement through the HSE under the Northern Ireland Planned Healthcare Scheme.
“Our experts, including Professor Johnny Moore, have been serving Donegal patients through cross-border schemes for over a decade,” said Joyce Shaw, clinic team leader. “Due to rising demand, we’re hosting this free drop-in clinic in Letterkenny. Patients needing surgery can expect treatment within four to six weeks.”
