Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly headed to the United States for urgent eye surgery following complications during treatment in Mumbai, according to reports.
The actor had visited a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye procedure which did not proceed as expected. A source revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is now being swiftly moved to the USA to address the issue.
Earlier this year, Khan had been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering from a heat stroke. Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat confirmed the incident, stating, “Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering from a heat stroke.”
In an exclusive interview with Showsha, actor and close friend Juhi Chawla mentioned, “Shah Rukh was unwell last night but is now receiving medical attention and feeling much better this evening. Hopefully, he will recover soon and be in the stands this weekend, cheering for the team during the IPL 2024 finals.” The finals are scheduled to take place in Chennai on May 26, with Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders facing the winner of the match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
During his visit to Ahmedabad, Khan attended an Indian Premier League (IPL) match of his team Kolkata Knight Riders at Narendra Modi Stadium, accompanied by his daughter Suhana and son AbRam. Following the match, he interacted with fans and players alike, celebrating KKR’s victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Gauri Khan rushed to Ahmedabad to be by her husband’s side during this time.
