Over 50 individuals from Ogidi community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State have received free eye surgeries courtesy of Lifted Hands Incorporated, a medical outreach organization based in the United States. The surgeries were part of a comprehensive two-day medical program that included free diagnoses for community members over the weekend.

The procedures were carried out at Iyi-Enu University Teaching Hospital in Ogidi, serving as a crucial referral center for the medical team. Lifted Hands Incorporated emphasized that the initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare access to underprivileged individuals, including both the elderly and young, promoting overall wellness and health maintenance.
