Singaporean actor Mark Lee’s wife, Catherine Ng, recently underwent surgery on her right eye at Mount Alvernia Hospital, following an incident where she was struck in the face by a ball two months prior.

Ng took to Instagram on July 10 to express her gratitude to friends after the surgery was successfully completed. She recounted feeling apprehensive but found comfort in the support of her friends who visited her at the hospital.

Lee disclosed that Ng’s right eye had been hit by a ball kicked by a child approximately two months ago. Initially, Ng did not think much of the incident and continued with her daily activities. However, discomfort in her eye persisted during a family outing, prompting her to seek medical attention upon her return.

After consulting a doctor, Ng learned there was an issue with her cornea that required surgical intervention. Lee shared concerns about potential implications for Ng’s eyesight had the surgery not been performed promptly.

The surgery at Mount Alvernia Hospital was successful, and Ng’s recovery progress is being closely monitored.
