Susan Sarandon’s daughter had breast augmentation surgery earlier this month and has been documenting her recovery via Instagram since.
Last week, she shared a post-surgery video taken while her husband Ian Hawke was driving her home.
The actress admitted to having a “nervous breakdown” before her cosmetic surgery when she uploaded the video — but clarified that it was a “relaxing” and “awesome” experience.
In the touching video, Amurri also broke down in tears over the “delicious” snacks her doctor gave her.
The lifestyle blogger announced her plans to undergo breast reduction surgery to her fans on April 2, marking the occasion with a “goodbye boobs” cake.
“I am doing something I have wanted to do for 20 years,” she wrote at the time. “This will be my first surgery and the first time I will be under general anesthesia in my life.”
“It feels so surreal and powerful to finally be able to do something I have always wanted to do but couldn’t because of my fear of anesthesia,” Amurri continued.
Two weeks later, she shared her insights during her post-surgery “chrysalis period.”
In her message carousel, she describes going to salons for blowouts and experiencing random bruises when she can’t manage her own hair.
“Taking a break is harder than I thought it would be,” Amurri concluded. “I feel really guilty when I’m not doing something that can be objectively seen as productive.”
The Undateable alum’s breasts made headlines in January 2024 when she hit back on social media at those who objected to her wearing a strapless wedding dress, saying her “32F size boobs were minding their own business.”
