Trainor revealed on a recent podcast that she had “too much Botox” to the point where she lost the ability to smile.
“Someone used my small lips to convince me that a lip job, where you put filler right above your upper lip, would give you a beautiful change in your upper lip. And for the first time in 30 years, I actually did it — and it wasn’t,” she said on the Getting It On With Meghan Trainor and Ryan Trainor podcast.
“I couldn’t smile anymore,” she complained, adding, “No matter where I went, I couldn’t smile. My face hurt, and I couldn’t even smile or even want to smile.”
Sharing the lesson she learned from the experience, Trainor said, “It taught me that my smile literally lights up the room, and when it’s gone, it’s just a dim light. I felt like I wasn’t happy because I couldn’t smile.”
She still has plans for plastic surgery, though; she wants to get a breast augmentation.
She said her “boobs are like flabby bags” now after two pregnancies. The “All About That Bass” singer said she’d like to “lift them up a little bit” and “get little implants so they look like ‘we are boobs’ because right now they’re not.”
