Jessel Taank is talking about the plastic surgeries she’s had on her face. The Real Housewives of New York star recently made comments about her face on the show when Brian Whitfield accused her of getting a new face. Now, the reality star is talking about all the plastic surgeries she’s had. In a new interview with Page Six’s “VR Tea,” Taank shared that she was influenced to get plastic surgery after seeing herself on the show.
“When you see yourself on TV, you notice everything,” she said. “So I was like, ‘You know what? I just want to tweak it.’ And who hasn’t had Botox? Who hasn’t had some filler?” Taank went on to talk about how she’s been getting Botox since she was in her 20s. “I’ve been getting Botox since I was 26. It’s changed everything. I’m not a gatekeeper, and I’m definitely not someone who’s had all these surgeries and kept it to myself.” She said that’s why she’s been open about it all on social media. “So I talk about it on social media. I don’t want people to think I’m doing things privately. I get it, we’re on TV. It’s par for the course.”
Another thing Taank has been accused of is her teeth. She spoke about the dental veneers she got and why she needed them. “I did get dental veneers. My dentist, Dr. Victoria Weitzman, is amazing. She’s the best and she does dental restorations for all the stars,” she said. She went on to talk about an injury she suffered as a child that necessitated dental restoration surgery. “There’s actually a really funny story. I was running around by the pool on vacation as a kid and I slipped. I hit my mouth on the concrete, so I had to get cosmetic dental restoration or reconstruction or something like that,” she said.
During the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Whitfield and Tucker got into an argument, with Whitfield criticizing Tucker for taking advantage of photographers. Whitfield slammed her use of “image control” and criticized Tucker for “looking different and having different teeth” in a confessional. Tucker told Page Six that it will take Whitfield a little time to regain her trust as a friend. “It’s going to be a lot of work to regain her trust,” she said.
