In fact, many celebrities have admitted to feeling this way after undergoing plastic or cosmetic surgery.
Take Jennifer Aniston, for example, who admitted to having a nose job in 2007. At the time, the Friends star said the results helped improve her overall health.
“I had surgery for a deviated septum — it was the best surgery I’ve ever had,” Jennifer told People magazine. “I’m sleeping like a baby for the first time in years.”
She’s not the only star who wouldn’t take back a change in her appearance. Kim Kardashian, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Nicki Minaj, and Alex Earle have also opened up about their positive experiences with plastic and cosmetic surgery.
Additionally, Brandi Glanville — who previously admitted to getting breast augmentation surgery and trying Botox and fillers — recently shared that she’s a big fan of the CellSound body contouring treatment, which she uses to tighten her abdomen.
“I have real abs,” the Bravo star told People magazine in March. “I have some lines on my tummy that haven’t been there since I got pregnant. I think all moms know that after you have a baby, you never get the elasticity back.”
Not everyone’s confession has been received ravely, however. Kristin Cavallari, Jamie Lee Curtis, Courteney Cox and Bethenny Frankel have all previously spoken out about regretting changing their bodies.
For Jamie — who says she’s “done everything” — she hasn’t seen the changes she’d hoped for.
“I’ve had some plastic surgery,” she told The Daily Telegraph in 2002. “I’ve had liposuction, I’ve had Botox. But you know what? None of that worked. It didn’t work at all.”
In John Stamos’ 2023 memoir If You’d Told Me, the Full House alum revealed that he had a second nose job after being unhappy with the results of his first one.
“My nose looked a bit like Peter Pan, pushed up,” he wrote in the book about his first surgery. “So, next time I have a day off, I’m going to have Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon do it again.”
