This week, Michelle Obama announced her new podcast, “IMO” (which stands for “In My Opinion”). She’s co – hosting it with her brother, Craig Robinson. Jon Turk, a top plastic surgeon in New York City, was really impressed with Obama’s new look. He said she’d clearly lost some weight and added, “She looks like she had some minimally invasive treatments.
Maybe Botox on her forehead, Morpheus 8 (a type of laser treatment) to tighten her skin, and perhaps a bit of filler in her cheeks and jawline to balance her face.”
Corey Maas, an MD and FACS surgeon based in San Francisco, agreed with Turk. (He thought Obama might have used the Kardashian – liked Sofwave ultrasound/collagen rebuilding therapy.) Dr. Maas said, “In recent pictures, her skin looks tighter and more shaped, especially around the jawline and cheeks. That’s making people wonder if she had a facelift or other cosmetic work. But, she also seems to have lost weight, which can naturally make her face look more contoured and define her jawline. Also, her hair is pulled back tightly in a ponytail, which can make her facial features stand out more and give a kind of lifting look.” Dr. Maas went on, “Overall, the changes in Obama’s appearance could be because of a mix of small cosmetic treatments, weight loss, and how she styles herself. For an attractive woman like her, a little change in makeup and some weight loss can explain what we’re seeing.”
By the way, I heard that besides some other things, the reason Obama skipped former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral was that she was getting ready for the podcast and recording with her brother. (She was never going to go to Donald Trump’s inauguration, anyway.)
The podcast started on Wednesday. On it, Obama talks about her relationship with her husband, former President Barack Obama, with Craig and guests like Issa Rae, Tyler Perry, Seth Rogen, and Jay Shetty. There have been rumors that she and Barack, who’ve been married for 32 years and have daughters Sasha and Malia, are having problems. But I’ve been told their marriage is just fine and strong. She did talk about the tough times they’ve been through in the past, though.
