Lady Gaga has opened up about a past experience related to facial treatments.
In 2025, the singer of “Born This Way” told radio host Howard Stern that she’d never had “real” plastic surgery. But she did go through a period where she was really into getting facial injections. At that time, she was smoking marijuana a lot.
She said she used to go to a place in the back of a strip mall in Chicago. Everyone around her thought she was crazy. She admitted that her mental state wasn’t the best then. She would smoke a lot of joints, have some drinks, and say, “Oh, let’s go see my girl.” Then she and her friend would drive to that strip mall. There, she would get injected with things like Juvéderm and then leave.
Lady Gaga also shared that now all that injected stuff is gone. Before she shot the “Applause” video, a photographer friend told her, “Gaga, I love you, but if you don’t stop putting stuff in your face, I’m going to kill you.”
