Meghan Trainor has had plastic surgery. The singer of “Made You Look” showed the before and after of her recent breast augmentation and talked about why she loves the results.
On March 6, Meghan posted a video on her Instagram. She said, “I have big news to share. I got my boobs done!” Meghan, who is 31 years old and has two sons, Riley (3) and Barry (20 months), with her husband Daryl Sabara, then told how she decided to have the cosmetic surgery.
She explained, “You know, I’m in a really busy part of my life. I’ve been on tour, working hard, and being a mom. So recently, I decided to do something just for myself.”
The breast implants also fit with her current healthy lifestyle. Meghan said, “After having two kids, living a healthier life, and losing weight, I’m really happy with my decision.”
She went on, “Before the surgery, I never liked my boobs. They were never even and always sagging. These breast implants have a smooth silk surface. It’s made to reduce inflammation so the tissue around the implant stays soft.
Honestly, they look and feel great.”
Meghan didn’t decide to have the operation easily. She told others to talk to a plastic surgeon before making a big decision. But in the end, for her, choosing Motiva implants was worth it.
Meghan said in an ad, “I really love the results. My breasts look fuller and completely natural. They go well with my body proportions. They are finally like twin sisters and not distant cousins.”
Along with her announcement, the “All About That Bass” singer shared two videos of herself singing Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra”, one before the surgery and one after. In the caption, she just wrote, “OBSESSED.”
Four months before the surgery, Meghan was open about another reason she wanted to change how her boobs looked. She said she hoped it would make her more confident on stage.
During a November 20 episode of her Workin’ on Upgrades podcast, Meghan said, “It’s really hard to try on all these great outfits for tour and shows. I have to wear really supportive bras, and it can mess up the outfit.”
She also said that these reasons weren’t new. Meghan said, “For years, I’ve always joked and said, ‘I can’t wait to get a boob job.'”
